Ok good, my impressions on driving are my own views and I still think aussies are mostly extremely speedy drivers! Was interested to know whether your impressions were backed up by the statistics, thanks for your reply.!
Maybe there’s something to do with the taxation re small business successes as well, not sure.

Well I guess it’s safe to say we’ve had vastly differing experiences with drivers then Accident figures don’t really back up the dangerous-part, however – Victoria is pretty much on par with Finland in traffic deaths (slightly lower in fact), i.e. both fairly low by international standards.

Very good article enjoyed reading it. having spent the last 10 years travelling to or living in melbourne whilst at the same time living in three different continents like yourself, i agree to your views except completelly disagree with your point of driving. i find australians one of the most arrocant, speeding, skilless and dangerous drivers i have come accross. it is m
ore than common to drive under the influence, young people have horrendous amounts of accidents…people dont get taught to drive properly nor safely!

Well, I am a reader of your blog. Not that I check it daily, but perhaps I check it every 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, not being much of a gardener, I haven’t been in a position to comment on some of your recent posts, but I always find them interesting.

While not so poetic as your quote from The Wealth of Nature, a rather timely quote from Zuckerberg’s recent S-1 filing shares a similar sentiment: “We have the words ‘Done is better than perfect’ painted on our walls to remind ourselves to always keep shipping.” If the result of your rebalancing means more posts being “shipped”, then I’m all for it.

well I will be interested in how you proceed. I will admit I didn’t read most of the book reviews. I have always liked your photo essays and observations of life in Australia and Finland. Something I have not had the patience to do myself. I will continue to follow your adventures in 2012. Good luck.

Hi there,
Loved your review! I myself am very keen on devouring anything I can get my ha da on in regards to permaculture and “wellness”.
I was very excited at the mention of RMIT’s Master of Wellness coupled the the PDC cert. After taking a further look at the course outline I’m not so sure it is an official “accredited” PDC. Can you clarify this for me.
